Providence House
A Refuge for the Precious
The mission of Providence House is to be a Christ-centered refuge for teen girls in foster care who have experienced trauma and are in need of a higher level of care. Through love, learning, and therapeutic services, we strive to heal hearts, renew minds, and restore hope. Guided by God’s grace, we are committed to equipping each girl to discover her worth, embrace her potential, and walk confidently into the future He has planned for her.

We Heal Together
We work side by side with the girls in our care, listening, learning, and growing together. Through mutual respect and shared responsibility, we create a culture where collaboration leads to connection, and connection leads to change.

Honoring Every Story
Each girl brings her own history, culture, and identity, all of which shape her experience. Our staff is committed to culturally responsive care that affirms who she is and where she comes from, and that acknowledges the impact of generational and systemic trauma.

In a Safe Place
Providence House is a physically and emotionally safe space where every girl can begin to let her guard down. From secure housing to consistent routines and caring staff, safety is the foundation of healing. Here, she knows she is protected and valued.

Building Values
Relational and therapeutic treatment with openness, honesty, and respect. We communicate clearly, follow through on promises, and involve our girls in decisions about their care because trust is something that’s earned, not assumed.

Empowering
Girls are given the tools and the freedom to shape their own futures. Whether it’s choosing their daily activities, setting personal goals, or making decisions about their care, we honor their voice and support their growth into strong, self-determined young women.

Recovery, Hope, and Strength
Focus on what’s strong, not just what’s wrong. At Providence House, healing isn’t just about surviving. It’s about thriving. Through support, structure, and encouragement, we help every girl tap into her resilience and write a new chapter filled with possibility.
What we learned wasn't always right.
We can unlearn.
We can learn something new.
We can learn to love ourselves and others.
